A few updates for this week! I successfully printed the first half of the project. The print took roughly 14 hours and required no supports other than a brim. Because of this, the print turned out to already smooth and needed no further sanding or prep. This made my life so much easier, and the job much easier for the printer as well. I think that this is incredibly uncanny, and especially because it is to scale it is very strange.

I also feel that the4 hardware on the print will also work well with hanging materials such as hooks and nails. Despite this however, there are still several setbacks, initally I scheduled my print for thursday, but I ended up going over my bookings time and so, I needed to cancel. That brought be to saturday, which was the next time I had prepared for the printing of the arm. However, the lab RAN OUT of fillament! I didn't expect this to happen but unfortunately, production will have to be moved to this following week. This will be a much tighter schedule than I had hoped but I am hoping that I can still make my deadline for April 7th.
